not that funny
Just calling someone fat isn't a very good comeback.
As for the game, it was fun at first, but too quickly became impossible.
It looks like the timer runs independently of the framerate, so if the game starts lagging, it becomes unfairly hard.
Also, it takes way too long to get to try again. I don't want to have to see the same 20 seconds of animation 20 times in a row.
Fun and hard but infuriating...
I really enjoyed the difficulty and the gentle learning curve, but there were a few irritating problems that subtracted 3 from my rating.
For one, the delay before you are able to release the fireball is way too long and shouldn't even be there for two reasons:
1. More times than I can count I saw the perfect shot that would win the level, but couldn't do anything about it until the flies all scattered randomly.
2. In a "try & try & try" game like this, you want to be able to make another attempt as soon as possible. Snazzy alpha-transparency fade effects just add to frustration the 30th time you try a level.
Another problem I had was with the collision detection. There were several times I could have made the case that I got robbed. When the ball splits, some random pieces trigger explosions and some don't. There is no apparent difference between these segments and no reason for this to happen.
Also, the bouncing off of walls is too chaotic. Since the flies all move randomly, fireballs bouncing off of walls should be predictable and repeatable. This would add a valuable balance to the game.
I agree with the previous reviewers about the lack of an ending. I don't like to spend a good 2 or 3 hours playing a game only to be told I'm inadequate.
I have to add a big THANK YOU for allowing me to turn off the sound. The music is great at first, but not after you've been stuck for half an hour on level 14.
The most violent game I've ever played
This is the most violent game I have ever played!
However, it does end too abrubtly and I can't tell what my health is.
lol, thanks i DID try to make it really violent so glad im succeeded.
And yea, i'll admit it ends abruptly, near the end i just wanted to finish it to start studying september exams.
Interesting game, but...
how come he can fly and I can't?
I can only go a few inches off the ground while my opponent can go anywhere.
What's the point of having flying in practice if I can't use it in the game?

Your skills progress as you level up, earning you more airtime in the process - from jumping to full-flight
pretty good
Aside from the typical repetitiveness associated with breakout games, there were a couple of physics issues. The ball didn't always bounce correctly off of what it was supposed to and in the right direction and it appeared to lurch after hitting anything.
Breakout games are generally overdone, so to avoid making this game just another cliche, I recommend adding something (some kind of powerup, for example) that makes this game different from all the others.
And another thing, I didn't see any imps!
Good game and theme. I also like the music. Keep up the good work.
bleh
I was expecting it to be an action style game and not turn based.
Also, you should say where each portal goes on the game screen or have the screen look like the clock you're going to fight or something like that to give you the idea of what you're going to fight.
Don't just do a shape tween between a bunch of lines and a figure. It makes your whole movie look very half-assed.
It says in the description which portal goes where.
this game is <adverb> <adjective>!
Who knew that penises always grew on the northern side of a match?
Some of your grammar and spelling could have been done better.
You should have also put a little script in there that makes it so if you start to type in one word, but change your mind and delete it, it shows you again what type of word you were supposed to put there. You should have also put in a script to automatically put in articles if they aren't there...
It got kind of boring trying to come up with words to put in there, so the music helped that I guess.
I thought about that, I'll try to put in in if I updated it.
Awesome!
You got me hooked.
The game could have used more levels, though. I beat the whole thing without buying any towers.
Very nice gameplay style; it keeps you on your toes. I may be focused on some giant coming half a screen away and miss a kamikaze!
...blah blah blah.... the song with the really high pitched notes got really annoying, but the rest fit well.
good info here
The models and lip synching are good to know how to do, but the other stuff in there like tweening and buttons already come with flash's tutorials.
No matter what you're good at, there are at least 50 people better than you at it.
